The Vets hockey sweater is a rare material remnant from the team was the pinnacle of hockey for Lethbridge at the time. There are very few connections to the team. The Galt’s collections staff continue to seek information on the Lethbridge Vets hockey team and appreciate any knowledge of the team that may be shared by the public.

This annual fundraiser for the Galt Museum & Archives is sponsored by Bridge City Chrysler along with many Alberta breweries and local distributors. New Home for Meat Market Sign

On November 22, 2018, the Alberta Meat Market’s neon sign, which had been in place for over half a century, was carefully removed from the cinderblock exterior of its building. The sign has since been restored to functionality by LA Noen with the help of gracious donations from Pat and Hollie Carroll and will now be displayed in the Galt’s Discovery Hall.
