Galt Beer Tasting Soirée Tickets Now Available

The Galt’s Resource Development & Volunteer Coordinator, Chris Roedler, speaking with Albertan brewers set up at the 2018 Galt Beer Tasting Soirée.

Lethbridge—Tickets are now available for this year’s Galt Beer Tasting Soirée coming up on Friday, September 6 from 5–10 pm. This annual fundraiser for the Galt Museum & Archives is sponsored by Bridge City Chrysler along with many Alberta breweries and local distributors. It features some of the best craft and microbrews available in southern Alberta.

“Our annual Beer Tasting Soirée has become a staple and signature event at the Galt over the more than fifteen years we have been holding it,” says Chris Roedler, the Galt’s Resource Development & Volunteer Coordinator. “We are very excited to be working with Bridge City Chrysler this year to put on this event, and the many breweries and distributors who are returning, as well as a number of first time attendees. This year’s beer tasting is a must-attend event for craft and microbrew beer fans.”

Tickets to the event are limited and cost $12 each, $9 for annual pass holders, and include a commemorative miniature ceramic stein, entertainment by Pyramid Entertainment, door prizes, a silent auction and a costume contest in keeping with our theme, Worlds Imagined! Come dressed as your favourite character from an imagined world of fantasy or science fiction to compete in our costume contest. Get your tickets now at www.galtmuseum.com.

The exhibit associated with this Beer Tasting, Worlds Imagined: The Maps of Imaginary Places Collection, will open on September 27 and will run until January 5, 2020.
