Support the Galt and help us share the history of the people in southern Alberta with our communities.
Contributions from individuals and families are essential to our mission. The Galt continues to collect and preserve the history of the region, to research and exhibit the history and cultures of our communities, and reflect the changes in our communities over time in our publications and exhibits. Together we can continue to accomplish this mission. The Galt provides educational programs to tens of thousands of students each year and provides community programming to thousands more for children, families, adults, and seniors throughout the year.
Engraved Bricks
Fund an engraved brick in our path of Local Heroes. The brick has space for three lines of up to 20 characters each, so that you can include your name, the name of a loved one, or the name of a local hero. The bricks are installed in our special walkway. The cost per brick is $150, with a tax receipt for $75.00. In addition, Galt Museum staff are compiling stories and photographs of the person(s) being recognized. These stories are placed in a special binder accessible to visitors...an opportunity to share your story with the world!

Volunteer at the Galt
The Galt Museum & Archives is a great location for volunteers to get involved in Lethbridge. We have opportunities in many different areas and functions that need helping hands and we are always looking for people to sign up. From working with archival documents to assisting in community programming there is something for everyone.
