TICKETS FOR TASTE OF DOWNTOWN ON SALE APRIL 9

Event runs Wednesday May 9 | 5:00 – 8:00 pm

 Grab your friends or your partner on Wednesday, May 9 for Taste of Downtown and enjoy the restaurants, cafés and other venues that keep the heart of the city ~ the centre of Lethbridge's past ~ alive today! Tickets go on sale Monday, April 9 at 1:00 pm at the Galt Museum Store.

 During Taste of Downtown ticketholders will sample menu items at well-established and newer restaurants, cafés and tour other businesses, learn about the history of local historic buildings and, best of all, be part of a vibrant event which sees the sidewalks of downtown teeming with people, rain or shine!

 “We’re pleased to be able to offer this event again as a Galt fundraiser for festivals and other history projects,” says Chris Roedler, Resource Development & Volunteer Coordinator at the Galt Museum & Archives. “It is made possible by 18 participating businesses confirmed to date, so we’d like to encourage those who purchase tickets to show their appreciation to the participating establishments by continuing to visit them throughout the year.”

 Confirmed businesses include: Baadshah Royal East Indian Cuisine, David’s Tea [Park Place Mall], Draffin's Pharmasave, Express Coffee and Tea, LA School of Hair Design, Mocha Cabana, Nicholai Home Fashion, Plum, Round Street Café, Schnitzelhaus, Silla Designs, Slice Bar & Grill, Streatside Eatery, Ten Thousand Villages, The Jasmine Room, The Mongolie Grill, The Penny Coffee House, and the Trianon Wine Bar.
