FEE UPDATES AND HOLIDAY HOURS

More and more grandparents are bringing their grandchildren to the Galt Museum & Archives to participate in weekly family programs and in response to this trend, the Galt is pleased to announce that the Board of Directors has created a new Grandparents Annual Pass category starting January 1, 2013. The Board has also approved slight adjustments to the fee schedule to help off-set some of the increasing costs. Those who would like to purchase or renew an Annual Pass can do so at the 2012 rates until December 31, 2012.

ANNUAL PASS RATES:

NEW $30 Grandparents 2 seniors + grandchildren 7-17 [available from JAN 1.13]

$25 Adult [$20 through DEC 31.12]

$20 Senior 60+ [$15 through DEC 31.12]

$15 Post-Secondary [no change]

$30 Family [$25 through DEC 31.12]

Daily admission rates at the Galt also include program admission, one of the best values in town! Effective January 1, 2013, the rates will be:

$6 Adults [no change]

$5 Seniors 60+ [$4 until DEC 31.12]

free ages 0-6 [no change]

$3 Post Secondary [$4 until DEC 31.12] & Youth 7-17 [no change]

$15 Family 2 adults + children 7-17  [$12 until DEC 31.12]

 The Galt will remain open throughout the Christmas holidays at its regular hours: Monday – Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm; Thursdays from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm, and Sundays from 1:00 – 5:00 pm; with the exception of December 25 and 26, and January 1 when the staff will take a well-deserved break!  And of course, the Top 10 of 2012 drop-in family program runs daily from 1:00 - 4:00 pm December 27-31 and January 2-6.
