Travel with Annelise Doolaege to visit the global event of 2022 for plant geeks! The Netherlands holds Floriade Expo once every ten years; its arboretum will highlight the Expo’s green infrastructure as well as the future of urban district horticulture. Annelise will share her arboreta experience walking amongst specimens like Cupressocyparis leylandii (Leyland cypress), Ilex aquifolium (English holly) and Caragana arborescens (Siberian peashrub). All the trees and shrubs contribute to a healthy, green community. Additionally, she will take you on a virtual stroll through the famous Keukenhof garden of ancient trees sheltering more than 800,000 spectacular spring-flowering bulbs.
