An artist talk by Troy Nickle, a land artist whose art focuses on studies of nature, natural phenomenon and our relationship to the environment. His practice involves creating site-specific ephemeral interventions in the landscape and installations in the gallery with natural materials like vegetation, wood and mud. Through his art, Troy seeks to create a deeper appreciation of our natural world and build on a sense of awe and wonder about it.
