FREE ADMISSION & PROGRAMS AT GALT MUSEUM ON CANADA DAY

MUSEUM COMMUNITY DAY Sunday July 01 | 1:00-5:00 pm | free admission

Lethbridge – The Galt Museum & Archives celebrate Canada's 145th birthday, multicultural heritage and the special summer exhibit Champions & Challenges in Sports with games, multicultural crafts and treasure hunt on Sunday, July 1 from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.

Free admission for the day is made possible by the support of Southern Alberta Learning Assessment Services, a Lethbridge based business providing English language assessments for immigrants, refugees, private clients and foreign workers, as well as a Celebrate Canada Grant from the Department of Canadian Heritage.

“Sponsorship from SALAS and the Celebrate Canada Grant allows us to offer admission to the Galt and the day’s program free of charge as we celebrate our multicultural history and our sports exhibit,” says Leslie Hall, Community Programs Coordinator at the Galt. “We will have the Bridge City Gunners Disc Golf Club on hand to share their knowledge too, along with other fun and games for the whole family!”
