The Friends of the Galt Museum Endowment Fund
How do I leave a gift for the Galt Endowment Fund?
It’s easy. You can arrange for a gift in several ways, the most common being a charitable gift through a bequest in a will. Many people set aside a certain dollar amount. Others leave a percentage of their estate or any assets left over after their family has been provided for. Some people donate something they own, like a car or their home. Others leave a permanent life insurance policy, securities, retirement account or other financial investments.
Contributions to the Endowment Fund are permanently invested in perpetuity with subsequent earnings used to support educational programs. To provide a level of comfort to potential donors, the Community Foundation of Lethbridge and Southwestern Alberta was selected as the home of the Endowment Fund. Donors receive a charitable tax receipt for their donation.
