Learn about Hanukkah (Chanukah) the Jewish eight-day, wintertime “festival of lights,” celebrated with a nightly menorah lighting, special prayers, and fried foods. Hands-On History is an interactive program for children of all ages with their caregivers.

Spend an hour learning about Diwali. This is a Hindu festival of lights that is also observed in other religions in India. It symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance" with the India Canada Cultural Association.
