“It will always be the people! I have been fortunate to know a lot of good people that live in Lethbridge. People who have made this city a wonderful place to grow up, get educated and raise a family. The photo I'm submitting is my father Jimmy Brown. My dad immigrated to Canada in 1927 and was raised in Coalhurst Alberta. He grew up and worked in the Lethbridge area and then served with the Canadian Artillery during the Second World War. When he returned to Canada he begun a life time of giving back to his community. Community was a very real thing in his heart and through giving of his time and effort he did all he could to make Lethbridge a great place to live.”
