A 1965 portrait of Maurice Mcdougall, the Peigan Head Chief. Born in Calgary, he served in the Canadian Armed Services from 1939–1946, and then farmed and ranched on the Peigan Reserve. He served on the Peigan Band Council for 13 years and was well respected for his work.
