TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE FOR FRIENDS OF THE GALT VALENTINE’S HIGH TEA

Surprise your special Valentine this year with petit-fours and finger sandwiches prepared by Chef Jeff Shaw, and romantic musical selections performed by the Lethbridge Symphony Orchestra at the Friends of the Galt Valentine’s High Tea Sunday, February 12 from 2:30 – 4:00 pm in the private dining room at The View at Lethbridge.

“If you prefer to bring your favourite group, that would be wonderful,” says Mary Oordt of the Friends of the Galt Society, “and families are most welcome!”

 In addition to parking at The View, a motor coach will be available to take you to there from the Galt Museum & Archives at 2:00 pm. This service is compliments of Chateau Isabella in Beazer, Alberta.

 Limited event tickets are now available at the Galt Museum Store for $25/person.  Those who attend are encouraged to “dress to impress”.

 The Valentine’s High Tea is a new fundraiser presented by the Friends of the Galt Museum Society in partnership with The View at Lethbridge in support of the Galt Museum's educational initiatives, including the bussing program, which allows local school groups to book a school bus at no cost for their field trips to the museum.

 The Friends have also supported the Education Program in other ways, and in 2009, the group provided a lead gift to the “Friends of the Galt Endowment Fund” jointly established with the Galt Museum & Archives.
