Waterton JUN 22 [register by Jun 15] | Hutterite Colony AUG 17 [Register by AUG 10]

Take some well-deserved time this summer to get away on the Galt Museum & Archives Get Outta Town Summer Bus Tours presented with Red Arrow Motorcoach to the Waterton Wildflower Festival and the Wilson Hutterite Colony; bring a friend to learn the history of the area from our expert guides, immerse yourself in local stories, meet fascinating characters and indulge in fabulous local food.

“The morning tour at the Waterton Wildflower Festival will be led by popular horticulturalist Lyndon Penner who is participating in the Festival this year,” enthuses the Galt’s programs assistant Lauren Bartholomew responsible for coordinating the tours. “The afternoon features tea and a tour at the historic Prince of Wales Hotel. We round off the summer with our popular Hutterites & History tour.”

“We are very happy to be working with Red Arrow Motorcoach again this year,” says Leslie Hall, Community Program Coordinator at the Galt, “they ensure that we travel in style; we had rave reviews last year. To add to the travel experience, our on-board guide shares knowledge along the way.”

John Stepovy, General Manger at Red Arrow, says “Summertime is always a great time to get out and explore Alberta. We’re very happy to once again partner with the Galt Museum & Archives Get Outta Town Bus Tours. Giving Albertans the chance to see southwestern Alberta historic sites, hear the meaningful stories and learn about its remarkable history is really special. We hope everyone has a great getaway and goes home with some very special memories."
