Philippine cultures are dynamic and evolving with the fusion of historical and contemporary adaptations to economic and political challenges situated in transnational contexts. Glenda Bonifacio will present on Philippine cultures utilizing research done in Australia and Canada about Filipino migration, gender and community integration.
Glenda Tibe Bonifacio is a professor and chair of the Department of Women and Gender Studies at the University of Lethbridge. She is a Filipino transnational scholar with research on gender, migration and post-disaster communities.
