Join us for drinks and snacks to celebrate our two new photo-based temporary exhibitions! The night will include a short panel discussion with the artists/curators and live music from local jazz group Midnight Channel.
Extra! Extra! Eras of Photojournalism in Lethbridge (on display until August 4, 2024) is a snapshot of the history of photojournalism in Lethbridge. This exhibition provides exposure to beautiful imagery from archived Lethbridge Herald articles as well as personal histories of local photojournalists.
The Road to L.A.: Reflections on Canadian Identity (on display until October 20, 2024) shows how the political divide has grown since the Covid-19 global health pandemic. This collection of contemporary photographs by local artist Kort Woycheshin explores how shifting political views have altered the concept of Canadian identity.
