Join a special guest from the Helen Schuler Nature Centre to discover some of the amazing trees found in southern Alberta. Find out more about cottonwoods, the only trees native to the Lethbridge area, then create art with leaves. While you're here, be sure to check out our new exhibit Rooted: How Trees Give Us Life.

Hands-On History is an interactive program for children of all ages with their caregivers. This program is supported financially by the Friends of the Galt Museum & Archives.

1–2 pm | children to attend with adults | registration not required | museum admission applies | free to annual pass holders
