The Galt Presents... Dr. Athena Elafros, an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Lethbridge. Dr. Elafros is a qualitative cultural sociologist who studies popular music, social inequality and youth. Her current projects involve studying the role of different forms of labour within musical and literary cultural fields and collecting and preserving the oral histories of Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA)/Queer-Straight Alliance (QSA) members and facilitators in Alberta.
