Listen to Dr. Julie Young (Ph.D.) give a presentation and have a discussion with the Galt’s Curator Aimee Benoit. Dr. Young considers Canada’s contemporary refugee policies in a global context, and also discusses the importance of local histories and geographies to understanding the impacts of these policies.

Dr. Young is an Assistant Professor and a Canada Research Chair (Tier 2) in Critical Border Studies in the Department of Geography and Environment at the University of Lethbridge.
