at Fort Whoop-Up

JUN 19–23

Artists and curators collaborate with local communities, actively engaging audiences to critically examine Canada at 150 while offering a legacy for the future. The Indigenous worldview maintains that history is something ‘written on the land’—that the landscape is itself an animate, living, and embodied archive. This Canada 150 project was lead by Jackson 2Bears with Elders and senior University of Lethbridge Fine Art Students.
