Join Darren Aoki (University of Plymouth), Carly Adams (University of Lethbridge), and the NMCP Project Team for a talk and activities to launch this special three-month exhibition exploring representations of Japanese-Canadians in southern Alberta through 20th century local press coverage.   • 'Building a Japanese Garden' - Mr. Tosh Kanashiro (Japanese Garden 1967 Committee, City of Lethbridge) 
  • Japanese Sake Tasting (led by James Phelan - sake generously donated by Nikka Yuko Japanese-Canadian Friendship Garden
