How do we book a program?

A Have the following information handy when booking a program:

• Title of program
• Preferred date(s) and time(s)
• Grade, number of students

A confirmation slip and teacher's guide will be mailed to you.

• Contact Belinda Crowson for all booking requests and program information.

What if we have to cancel or
re-book a program?

A Please let the museum know as soon as possible.

How many adult supervisors do we need?

A For most programs, no extra adult supervisors are required, though as many as would like to participate are welcome.

If additional adult supervisors are needed, it will be specified in the teacher's guide and in the confirmation package.

What do I need to do to prepare for the visit to the Galt Museum & Archives?

A The teacher's guide gives background information and suggested pre-visit activities.

These activities are useful to ensure that your students get the most from the programs.

How much does a program cost?

A Programs generally cost $40/class. Higher costs may apply for large group sizes and for materials and supplies related to certain programs. You will be notified of any extra costs at time of booking.

As per the federal government’s GST regulations:

• GST is NOT added to the price for classes with students 13 years of age and younger
• GST is added to the price for classes with students 14 years of age and older.

How do we pay?

A The Galt Museum & Archives is linked to the City of Lethbridge’s booking system. 

Payment can be sent to the City of Lethbridge or paid at the Museum information desk during your visit. 

Payments can be made by Visa, Master Card, debit, cash and cheque.  If paying by cheque, please make payable to the City of Lethbridge.
